Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate will possess technical acumen in Electrical Engineering, be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in conflict resolution while effectively communicating across all levels. Primary responsibilities include:
- Facilitating new product introductions with a focus on technical excellence.
- Driving initiatives to enhance future designs, including validation, stress testing, and user impact assessments.
- Conducting MLB debugging and failure analysis in collaboration with System and Product Design, Component Engineering, and Reliability teams.
- Managing program-related communications with executive management, highlighting key risks and outlining resolution strategies.
- Committing to high-pressure deliverables while achieving solid results.
- Leading quality improvement teams to enhance field performance.
- Participating in Field Failure Analysis and driving DPPM reduction efforts.
- Implementing systemic yield improvements and reporting based on lessons learned from various issues.
- Interpreting, analyzing, and summarizing data effectively to inform decision-making.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design, testing, and integration of electronics into systems, preferably in consumer electronics.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency with design and schematic tools.
- Familiarity with electronic testing strategies including In-Circuit Testing and board functional tests.
- Proven excellence in managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong skills in failure analysis of systems and components.
- Ability to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance system quality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical information with precision and detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Experience in system manufacturing and transitioning new products into production.
- Proficiency in data analysis methods to derive actionable insights.
A degree in Electrical Engineering (BS/MS/PhD) is preferred.
