We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Referral Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Family Medicine: Parker Square. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling referrals, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that all necessary authorizations are obtained. They will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless referral processing. Additionally, this role involves performing administrative duties, including data entry, patient registration, and insurance verification.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT), and relevant work experience in a similar position. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should also have excellent computer skills, particularly in electronic medical record systems, and be able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 25 pounds. Estimated salary for this role is $21-$26 per hour.
