About the Role

This position is responsible for performing routine clinical or administrative duties in support of assigned areas or offices. As an Ambulatory Medical Support Professional, you will work under the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse, assisting with patient care, performing basic clinical skills, and monitoring patient conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care under the direction of a healthcare provider or nurse.
  • Perform basic clinical skills, including specimen collection, and monitor patient conditions.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including ordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure examination areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Current state licensure as an EMT-B or EMT-I required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer required.
