Job Description

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subsystem Operations and Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our New Glenn program, you will be responsible for ensuring the launch vehicle, ground equipment, and personnel are ready for operation for all phases of the mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain operational requirements and procedures for the New Glenn launch vehicle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems and systems
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure safe and successful launch operations
  • Develop and implement system-level solutions to complex integration challenges
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and operations
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating complex systems and subsystems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with launch vehicle operations and integration
  • Knowledge of systems engineering tools and methodologies
  • Experience with DOORS Next Gen and other system lifecycle configuration management tools
