This role plays a crucial part in overseeing daily operations and enforcing safety protocols. Key responsibilities include plant maintenance, supervising team members, and recommending improvements to enhance safety.
A successful candidate will possess excellent decision-making skills, strong time management and organizational abilities, be self-motivated, and have exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written). They will also be customer-focused and able to work effectively in dust and adverse weather conditions.
Job Responsibilities- Establish daily operating policies aligned with overall objectives and ensure their execution.
- Serve as a liaison across positions and departments, developing and implementing procedures to promote communication and information flow within the organization.
- Collaborate with employee groups and departments when needed to direct operational activities according to divisional objectives.
- Provide responsible training, clear job assignment definition, correct deficient performance, and effectively reward and develop all employees.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing programs of housekeeping, safety, and equipment maintenance to avoid breakdowns and limit safety hazards.
- Maintain record-keeping logs on facility equipment and regularly evaluate the results of overall operations, reporting these results to management.
This position requires a High School diploma or GED and 3-5 years of agriculture retail experience. Additional qualifications include supervisory experience, propane and energy experience, mechanical aptitude, and a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
