Position Overview

This role involves working primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the potential for an additional day.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Valid NYS DOH NMRT license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate medical procedures to patients and address their inquiries.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  • Prepare and administer radioactive substances to patients.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to administered drugs.
  • Operate imaging machinery effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of procedures performed.
  • Follow established safety and disposal protocols for radioactive materials.
