Operations Coordinator

Global Refuge is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain vendor accounts, including BGE, Verizon, Iron Mt, UPS, and Shred It.
- Coordinate fire safety and emergency response efforts, including CPR/First Aid/AED training.
- Assist with procurement functions, including purchasing and inventory management.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Business Operations and Procurement Officer.
- Manage the online ticketing system for work orders and the online scheduling space reservation system.
- Ensure compliance with Global Refuge's document retention and destruction policy.
- Assist with new hire setup and staff off-boarding, including space allocation and operations setup.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attendance records, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in the office at the Baltimore Headquarters 5 days per week and travel to local offices in the DMV area as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with working in a diverse workforce.
