Healthcare Intake Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Intake Specialist to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, collecting necessary information, and facilitating a seamless intake process. Your excellent communication and technical skills will enable you to build trust with patients and provide them with a positive experience.
You will work closely with our clinical teams to ensure accurate and efficient data collection, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will make you an asset to our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, collect necessary information, and facilitate the intake process
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Use electronic health record systems to collect and update patient data
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate and efficient data collection
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
Compensation and Benefits:
- A competitive hourly rate: $14.00 - $17.37
