Transportation Supervisor

As a key member of the Wayne Central School District team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the conduct of passengers and maintaining current route records. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the conduct of passengers to ensure a safe and comfortable riding experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date route records to optimize transportation efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Transportation Manager to develop and implement effective transportation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and community members.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Hold a current CDL license, Class B license, or be willing to undergo training.
- Satisfy Civil Service and DMV Article 19 qualifications.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with children, staff, and community members.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with students, staff, and community members. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
