Minimum Qualifications:
DZ license and clean driver's abstract Experience with standard transmission Willing to work flexible hours, overnights, weekends and travel when requiredPreferred Qualifications:
Liquid handling experience Comfortable working at heights Dangerous Goods certification Basic computer skillsDay in the Life
As an Asphalt Distributor Truck Operator, you will begin to know the highways like the back of your hand, as you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading materials, ensuring timely deliveries. Strong communications skills will also be necessary as you relay information to and from supervisors daily.
When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance but safety will be your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when recording accurate measurements of emulsion spray, completing daily timesheets and log books.
