Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer at LogixHealth, you will be part of a globally distributed team of engineers responsible for designing and building cutting-edge solutions that directly improve the healthcare industry. You will contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring your expertise to continue delivering innovative technology solutions, while mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the creation of a scalable application platform for delivering complex and challenging projects across software and data.
Design and build cloud-native software using industry-leading practices and tools.
Own building and shipping new features across all levels of the stack - frontend and backend.
Write high-quality, testable, long-term maintainable, and performant code.
Build monitoring and observability to understand system performance and user behavior to make informed decisions.
Balance tradeoffs to meet short-term needs while investing in long-term foundation.
Provide technical leadership to key stakeholders, proactively communicating project details and development progress.
Qualifications:

8+ years software engineering experience.
3+ years in a senior, staff or principal engineer role.
Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
Expertise with more than one of PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, GraphQL, messaging systems (Kafka, SQS).
Experience leading projects within a team and across teams.
Azure experience.
Strong programming skills in C#, .Net.
Good programming skills in one or more of Go, NodeJS, Python, Java.
Strong programming skills in one or more of TypeScript, Angular, React.
Strong understanding how to leverage unit, integration and E2E test automation as part of the software development lifecycle.
Expert knowledge in architecting, designing and implementing software solutions to serve the needs of our business processes and end-to-end data systems.
Ability to keep security, maintainability, and scalability in mind with the solutions built.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude for continued learning.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
Passion for mentoring and guiding others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
