Our Cross-cutting Urgent Innovation Cell (CUIC) is a collaborative environment where analysts, scientists, innovators, and engineers work together to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems for classified environments, leveraging your expertise in programming, database development, data analytics, and geospatial reasoning.
  • Collaborate with other team members to learn new techniques and approaches, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Work in a cross-functional environment that includes scientists, data analysts, technical software developers, and intelligence analysts.

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Experience with software engineering concepts such as development, debugging, git, code reviews, continuous integration, and testing.
  • Experience developing in python and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, applied mathematics/statistics, operation research, artificial intelligence, or other physical science/engineering fields.
  • Experience cleaning and wrangling real-world messy data.
  • Domain knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques for classification, detection, key attribute extraction, segmentation, or activity detection.
  • Proficiency with data science stack(s) within python such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc
