The Hampton City School District is seeking an experienced and compassionate healthcare professional to fill the position of Health Services Supervisor.

  • ">
  • Provides supervision and guidance to licensed practical nurses, LPN school nurses, and health clerks under the direction of the Director of Health Services.">
  • Coordinates substitute nurse schedules to ensure seamless clinic coverage throughout the division.">
  • Assists in developing individual healthcare plans for students, attending IEP and 504 meetings as needed.">
  • Liaises with the Director of Health Services to develop onboarding materials for new staff members and facilitate ongoing professional development.">
  • Oversees Medicaid requirements in collaboration with the Medicaid specialist.">

Requirements:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing, along with a Virginia Registered Nurse License.">
  • At least five years of experience in school nursing, preferred.">
  • CPR certification (AHA - BLS for Healthcare Providers).">
  • Sufficient physical attributes to perform essential duties, including walking, standing, and responding quickly to medical emergencies.">
  • Ability to interact positively with students, parents, and school officials.">
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 100 lbs., and perform various physical tasks as required.">
  • Willingness to attend after-hours meetings/events as necessary.">
