Schedule and Work Environment
This position offers a stable work environment with a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will be working in an outpatient clinic setting, providing patient care without the need for night shifts, weekends, or holidays.
Job Responsibilities
As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to women, including annual well-woman exams, family planning, and gynecological services. You will also be involved in health education and counseling, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Master's Degree from an approved OB/GYN or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program. Alternatively, a Master's Degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program will be accepted with relevant experience in Women's Health/Gynecology. National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP, or AMCB is required, as is any state license. A minimum of two years of experience in the past three years is also necessary.
