Job Title: Airport Shuttle Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Airport Shuttle Driver to join our team at Hertz. As a key member of our airport location team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of customers between airport terminals and our Hertz rental location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Timely Shuttle Service: Ensure that customers are transported between airport terminals and our Hertz facility in a timely and efficient manner, in compliance with Hertz policies and procedures and local laws.
  • Deliver World-Class Customer Service: Welcome customers, assist with luggage, and answer questions in a friendly and professional manner. Communicate stops and safety information through PA or Talking Bus System, and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Conduct Bus Inspections: Regularly inspect the bus to ensure customer and employee safety, and report any defects or damage to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a Clean and Tidy Bus: Ensure that the bus is kept clean and tidy at all times, with maps available for customers.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Communicate customer feedback to the team and engage in action planning to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Passion for Customer Service: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Possess at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements.
  • PCV Cat D1 Driving Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years PCV Cat D1 driving experience (International).
  • Customer Service Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
Requirements:
  • DOT Medical Clearance: Obtain a DOT medical clearance.
  • Flexible Shifts: Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be available to work overtime as required.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate in English clearly and proficiently, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 45 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
