Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Propulsion Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires the candidate to work onsite. We provide complete relocation assistance to facilitate your transition. As a Propulsion Engineer, you will be at the forefront of space and lunar propulsion systems, contributing significantly to the development and evaluation of these advanced systems. Key Responsibilities:

As a Propulsion Engineer, your duties will encompass:
  • Conducting in-depth analysis and development of propulsion systems, including their design, testing, and implementation.
  • Employing mathematical modeling techniques to forecast and enhance system performance across various scenarios.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
  • Overseeing the execution of test plans to validate propulsion system performance.
  • Identifying and addressing risks associated with propulsion systems.
  • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field and applying innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Providing technical mentorship and support to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in propulsion engineering or a related discipline.
  • A bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis and development of propulsion systems.
  • Strong understanding of space and lunar environments and their implications for propulsion systems.
  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and its application in the design and optimization of dynamic systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
