Position Overview:
Compensation for this role is set at $52.25 per hour, with actual remuneration influenced by experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.

ROLE SUMMARY:


The Senior CT Imaging Specialist will serve as a key resource within the department, overseeing aspects such as onboarding, effective communication, equipment upkeep, scheduling, and addressing safety, patient, and team member issues.

This role involves assisting radiologists and other medical staff with imaging requests at a technical level, as well as facilitating the transport of patients to and from the Medical Imaging Department.


Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:

  • Completion of an accredited radiography program

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in computed tomography (CT)
Licensure/Certifications

  • Valid license from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • CT Certification to be obtained within 12 months
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Professional Experience:

  • At least three years of experience in computed tomography (CT)

Licensure/Certifications:

  • CT Certification
