Job Title: Tracheostomy Ventilator Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Tracheostomy Ventilator Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment, executing physicians' prescribed plans of care and documenting all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, while promoting patient safety and well-being.
  • Conduct patient assessments, coordinate care, and educate patients and their families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care, including coordination of services and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
