Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our team at State Hospital South in Blackfoot, Idaho. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with serious and persistent mental illnesses.
About the Role:- Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as toileting, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, sleep patterns, and diet patterns.
- Identify and report changes in patient behavior and health.
- Participate in group and individual therapy sessions to promote social skills and behavior management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
- Experience working with patients with mental health conditions and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
