Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate federal and state income tax returns, including Individual, Partnership, Corporation, Non-Profit, Trust, and Estate filings.
  • Compile and assess work papers, trial balances, adjusting journal entries, depreciation schedules, and book-to-tax reconciliations.
  • Generate and analyze tax estimates.
  • Offer QuickBooks support services.
  • Prepare and assess year-end 1099 forms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Master’s degree in Accounting with CPA certification; or four years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Capable of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, organizational skills, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting as well as work independently.
  • Competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
Physical Demands:
  • Capability to sit for extended periods.
  • Frequent hand/wrist/arm movements required (typing, grasping, reaching, etc.).
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 40 pounds.
