Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, from birth to 21 years old, with various developmental and neurological disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders in children
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness in children's communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for children
  • Provide education and training to parents and caregivers on strategies to support children's communication and swallowing development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss children's progress and develop treatment plans

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Unencumbered license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a home health care setting
