About the Role:
Soliant is in search of a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our educational team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting students to navigate communication difficulties, thereby promoting their academic and social achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluations: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language capabilities to pinpoint their needs and formulate tailored therapy strategies.
- Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct therapy aimed at addressing speech, language, and fluency disorders, customizing interventions to suit each student's unique requirements.
- IEP Participation: Engage in the creation and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), setting and monitoring progress towards communication objectives in collaboration with educators and families.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to weave therapy goals into classroom activities, enhancing the overall learning experience for students.
- Documentation: Keep precise and thorough records of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessments, ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience in an educational environment is highly valued.
