We are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our Resort Group team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, and billing to accounts, maintaining AP/AR records, and supporting accounting divisions.
Responsibilities- Process checks by entering information daily into the accounting system, balancing entries, and ensuring proper bank deposits are completed.
- Process timesheets, invoices, owner bills, and other AR and AP transactions by following departmental processes and procedures to ensure authorization, coding, and recording of such transactions are completed timely.
- Collect and distribute daily mail, answer phones, and direct inquiries to necessary staff.
- Assist in internal and external inquiries into invoice payments, receivables, expenditures, and other accounting transactions.
- Run errands daily, including dropping off mail, going to the Courthouse to record documents, taking deposits to banks, and other tasks as needed.
- Update monthly and quarterly recurring charges and other accounting controls in the system when directed to do so by accountants, controllers, or supervisors.
We offer an estimated hourly salary range of $22-$26 depending on experience.
