The Restaurant General Manager is a key leadership role at Friends Hospitality, responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Wings Etc. restaurant. This position requires a strong leader who can drive sales growth, improve profitability, and maintain high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Recruit, interview, and hire hourly staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and administering all hiring paperwork on time.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all employees are trained in the All Star Training Program modules required for their position, and develop employees through coaching, counseling, and building strong work habits.
  • Scheduling and Administration: Prepare weekly schedules for staff, notify EIS of vacation, sick, LOA, payroll, and other relevant information.
  • Performance Management: Complete performance reviews, manage, train, and develop staff, and record performance counseling and discipline.
  • Operations and Compliance: Maintain all company operations standards and compliance as outlined in the Operating Standards Manual and the Product Procedures and Systems Manual, and submit all invoices within the period of service.
  • Quality and Service: Deliver consistent, high-quality products daily, every shift, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Policies and Procedures: Understand, enforce, and adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbooks.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand POS, computer, and other technological equipment used in the restaurant.
  • Financial Management: Analyze profit and loss statements, meet established sales plan for the unit, and maintain and record inventory accurately.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure a clean facility at all times, and enforce appropriate dress and uniforms of all team members.
