Position Summary

The External Sales Consultant serves as the initial point of contact for customers at CTI Roofing, establishing the expectations for their experience. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer relationships and upholding high ethical standards throughout the sales process. The success of our brand and reputation is heavily reliant on the effective execution of this position's responsibilities. As a vital member of our direct sales team, you will cultivate new business through door-to-door sales initiatives and manage leads generated by the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop sales skills by self-generating at least 50% of closed sales through referrals, business leads, and residential outreach
  • Conduct roof evaluations to determine conditions and identify potential issues
  • Provide precise estimates for roofing projects based on inspection results and company pricing standards
  • Collaborate with the Production team to ensure seamless project execution and timely job completion
  • Collect payments from clients in a professional manner, adhering to established protocols
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and production phases, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships
  • Manage a designated territory for sales generation, identifying potential leads and opportunities
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, representing CTI Roofing and establishing high standards for customer interactions
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all communications and behaviors
  • Safeguard the company's brand and reputation through diligent execution of responsibilities
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills related to roofing sales techniques and industry best practices

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous sales experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a background check is necessary
