Job Title: Independent Sales Representative

Stine Seed Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Independent Sales Representative to join our team in Northern Missouri.

About the Role:

We are looking for a sales professional with a strong background in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales to cover Linn, Sullivan, and Putnam counties in Northern Missouri. As an Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing existing dealer accounts, recruiting new dealerships, and implementing Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships to increase sales
  • Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals
  • Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles
  • Initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals
