About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our retail store team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing a team of sales associates, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the store's daily operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets.
  • Manage store expenses, including inventory, supplies, and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a visually appealing and professional store environment, including store displays and visual merchandising.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, sales associates, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, customer service, or a related industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in retail, sales, or financial industry.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
