Research Associate Position in Neuroimmunology
The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join the Bennett lab in the Academic Support Staff.
This appointment will be initially for one year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three years).
The ideal candidate will have expertise in neuroimmunology, microglial cell biology, flow cytometry of glia, FACS sorting of glia, microglia depletion, microglia transplantation, mouse disease models including lysosomal storage and epilepsy models, and writing of manuscripts and grant proposals on these topics.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and support research in neuroimmunology in the Bennett lab.
- Collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and trainees in the Bennett lab without managing faculty-level responsibilities.
