Position Overview:
The Logistics Specialist will be accountable for the reception and management of materials within the distribution center. This role is crucial to the team, as the Specialist will confirm inventory counts, assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensure accurate documentation, and operate warehouse machinery safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Label pallets with relevant store information
- Operate lifting equipment (manual pallet jack or forklift, with certification provided by the company after training)
- Gather and prepare parts for store inventory replenishment
- Utilize a handheld radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Interpret documents such as safety guidelines, instructions, and procedural manuals
- Perform basic arithmetic operations accurately: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Dress Code:
Appropriate attire is required, including well-fitting waist-high jeans (not baggy), and a clean shirt or sweatshirt without logos or inappropriate imagery.
