We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at OSF HealthCare. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks to maintain the facility's major mechanical systems.
- Aid other skilled tradespersons in the completion of complex tasks such as the installation of new equipment and trouble-shooting and repair of building systems and equipment.
- Operate and maintain the facility's major mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, communication, and fire protection.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in performing or assisting with preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment, not requiring a license.
- 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented.
