Job Title: Controls System Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls System Technician to join our team in the electrical maintenance of facility production equipment. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing all production-related machinery, electrical systems, control sub-systems, and electrical and electronic systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, electrical systems, and control sub-systems.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Accurately diagnose equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Run diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
  • Restore CNC systems and motion control systems from backup media.
  • Configure, diagnose, and repair RFID systems and industrial vision systems.
  • Recognize and repair damaged electrical equipment to prevent lost production time.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment according to provided schematics and blueprints.
  • Maintain labor and work history reporting into CMMS work-order forms.
  • Work individually or within cross-functional teams to perform maintenance and repair duties.
  • Respond to customers with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Train others and participate in work/process studies and trials for Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Two years of documented military education from a technical school in relevant electronic or mechanical areas acceptable.
  • Language: Must have the ability to read and comprehend company policies and guidelines.
  • Technology: Knowledge of SAP Integrated Business software and MRO Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) required.
  • Travel: Up to 5%, including international.
