Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the formation and structuring of GP and management company entities, as well as investment funds and other alternative investment vehicles.
  • Represent clients in side letter negotiations and advise on various investment opportunities with third-party managers.
  • Manage fundraising processes, help clients comply with ongoing regulatory requirements, and advise on day-to-day legal needs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, taking on responsibility, multi-tasking, and maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 years of experience in a large law firm setting.
  • Strong academic history and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of entity types from a tax perspective and fundamental elements of the Federal securities laws.
  • Ability to understand fund economics and draft related language in fund agreements.
