Third Coast Bank is seeking a highly skilled Financial Service Representative to join our team. This full-time, non-exempt position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

This role will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to all bank customers, answering questions, and assisting with account openings and maintenance. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate records, operate a teller cash drawer, and adhere to all banking regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Interview consumers desiring to establish a banking relationship with Third Coast Bank SSB.
  • Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of bank products and services offered.
  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts for personal and commercial customers.
  • Obtain consumer identification information as required per CIP and the USA Patriot Act.
  • Process ATM/Debit Card and check order requests.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing bank customers.
  • Maintain daily rate sheet.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year teller experience, two (2) years of new accounts experience or related experience and/or training.
  • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in branch operation activities, terminology and products and services.
  • Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations.
  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; and word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software programs.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
