Job Title: Technician

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Hourly Rate: $18-20 per hour

Weekly Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our installations team. As a key player in product assembly and warehouse organization tasks, you will also be comfortable traveling out to the field to support with installs and surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Kelvin Installations team in the field and within a warehouse environment
  • Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and fragile parts
  • Provide field support, including taking measurements and installing radiator covers
  • Offer customer service to ensure client satisfaction during on-site visits and office-based interactions
  • Maintain, service, troubleshoot, repair, and install company field equipment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the proper use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and facilities maintenance equipment
  • Handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
  • Work in various assigned locations based on project requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service is required
  • Proven ability to work in physically demanding roles
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check and Identification Credentials verification
  • Ability to operate manual handling equipment such as manual pallet trucks
