Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to assist in the repair and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a knack for solving mechanical challenges, we want you to be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and moderate maintenance on plant equipment. Diagnose and repair breakdowns related to machinery, utility services, and building structures.
  • Tool & Part Specification: Identify and specify necessary tools, parts, and surplus stock to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair and maintain machinery according to diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Documentation & Standards: Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, including handling powered industrial equipment. Certification for powered industrial equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and fluid dynamics.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and communicate effectively. Must demonstrate manual dexterity and physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
