Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations in all business dealings.
- Engage with clients through diverse marketing strategies, including establishing relationships with real estate professionals, participating in industry events, and conducting follow-up communications with agents, builders, accountants, and previous clients.
- Handle incoming loan inquiries effectively.
- Originate loans and collaborate with the Loan Coordinator and processing teams to ensure timely loan closures.
- Possession of an NMLS license.
- A minimum of one year of experience in self-generated mortgage origination.
- Thorough understanding of current mortgage regulations, guidelines, loan products, and market trends.
- Ability to assist clients in identifying the most suitable mortgage options based on their needs and likelihood of approval.
- Strong negotiation skills for discussing loan terms with clients.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Proficient sales and consulting skills.
- Aptitude for performing mathematical and analytical tasks competently.
- Confidence in public speaking and presenting to groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish or Creole, are encouraged to apply.
