Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our team at FAMILYFIRST PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES. This is a full-time opportunity that requires maintaining Electronic Health Records (EHR) for an outpatient mental health practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the transfer of paper files to electronic files with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process documents according to established procedures, ensuring all pertinent information is properly scanned into each record.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient health information at all times.
  • Scan all files into the correct patient EHR, under the appropriate tab, with minimal errors.
  • Meet productivity standards for charts based on the number of charts scanned each week.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Professional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to type and file accurately with minimal errors.
  • Attentive to detail and highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
