As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro Cardiac Tele Progressive Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a high-acuity patient population, providing exceptional care and making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to manage complex medical conditions, including neurological and cardiovascular disorders.
- Participate in unit-based councils and committees to drive quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
- Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a stepdown, progressive care, or intermediate care setting, or three years of medical-surgical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Current Texas State RN license or compact license accepted; BCLS certification required upon hire; ACLS certification within 90 days of hire; CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire.
