Job Summary

  • Perform all warehouse functions including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and auditing.
  • Collaborate with supervisors on all warehouse operations and performance metrics.
  • Oversee inventory processes to ensure accuracy; investigate and rectify discrepancies or damages promptly and report back to management.
  • Conduct quality checks on products.
  • Monitor cooler/freezer product temperatures and document on the Expected Delivery Report.
  • Accurately complete credit memos for any shortages, returns, etc.
  • Notify management immediately of any shortages, mis-picks, or damaged items.
  • Ensure that cooler and freezer products are stored in their designated areas promptly.
  • Verify that products being stored are dated by the receiving personnel.
  • Implement proper product rotation using FIFO (first in, first out) to ensure the oldest products are distributed first.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas at all times.
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols to prevent hazards, including slips, trips, and falls, and report any injuries or unsafe conditions to management. Contact Public Safety in emergencies.
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and property rules.
  • Comply with responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Thoroughly complete all assigned responsibilities and tasks.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude.
  • Assist colleagues when necessary or requested.

Qualifications

  • Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to push and pull carts, racks, and products weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
