Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure CAE remains competitive
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in software development and leadership
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
  • Strong technical skills in software development, including programming languages, software design patterns, and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software engineers
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance within a five-year investigation period
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military experience
  • Strong RedHat Linux and Windows Server System Administration, TCP/IP Networking, shell scripting
  • Experience with running small network-isolated closed room datacenters
  • Experience with Domain Controller setup and configuration of Group Policy Objects
  • Configure, manage, monitor, and optimize on-line, near-online and off-line storage systems (NAS, SAN, NFS etc)
  • Experience configuring Cisco and/or HP Networking
  • Experience with System Hardening with standards such as the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCAP
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Patch Management (such as WSUS and YUM)
