Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Boston. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in helping us investigate and originate interesting and important cases, typically serving as lead or co-lead class counsel, and working collaboratively in the office and with co-counsel to push cases aggressively through discovery, briefing, and trial.

Responsibilities will include preparing pleadings and other filings and correspondence, cite-checking, using the Blue Book, performing filing services, calendar deadlines, and helping keep the team on track, conducting document searches, preparing materials for production, organizing and coordinating document reviews, helping with legal research, preparing materials for oral arguments, working as part of trial teams in the lead-up to and at trial, assisting in settlement and post-settlement allocation and distribution work, and being a core part of the case team.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently, be resourceful, organize and prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Results-oriented, self-starter, with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to shift focus, perform under tight deadlines, and maintain patience in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), and Adobe
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and contribute to our office and our projects in new ways
