Job Summary

Genesis Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Reimbursement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue through the evaluation and optimization of the Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes management of reimbursement priorities in nursing centers to assure proper utilization of services to maximize revenues.
  • Advise and assist the Clinical Reimbursement/MDS Coordinators to assure compliance to HCFA and State reimbursement regulations and Genesis Policies and Procedures.
  • Present changes in reimbursement regulations imposed on nursing center operations through training classes.
  • Participate in nursing centers' Medicare meetings to review coverage and documentation issues and requirements. Report any issues to the Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Clinical Reimbursement/MDS Coordinator.
  • Assist in the selection and orientation of new nursing center Clinical Reimbursement Coordinators.

Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a license as a Registered Nurse or equivalent professional license (i.e., Physical Therapist).
  • BS or a BA degree is required.
  • Must have Medicare and Medicaid experience.
