We are currently seeking a skilled property management professional to join our team at a vibrant 201-unit community.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Property Management Assistant, you will:
- Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Community Manager.
- Assist in training and developing team members, including managing employee schedules.
- Review daily rent recommendations and identify opportunities to enhance revenue.
- Manage the collection of current and overdue rent, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Verify the accuracy of move-in and move-out documentation and ensure timely data entry into property management software.
- Prepare and verify weekly reports, and collaborate with the property manager on monthly financial reports.
- Assist in resolving conflicts with residents and prospective residents.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and property manuals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Relevant experience in property management and the ability to pass a fair housing exam.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Yardi, CRM, and Rent Cafe software is preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in property-level operations software, including Outlook, Internet applications, Excel, and Word.
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a 401(K) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and discounts based on location. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits, along with vacation and sick time accrual in accordance with applicable laws.
