Your Role: As a Math Instructor, you will be an energetic and engaging individual who creates a supportive atmosphere for students and their families. You will receive training to deliver effective math instruction and inspire students to excel. Your role will involve fostering a positive and productive learning environment that builds confidence and demonstrates the value of our program. Instructors will also monitor and communicate student progress with the management team and assist with operational tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-center, online, or hybrid instruction using the Schoolhouse 4 Math Method and teaching practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver personalized instruction in a group setting
  • Evaluate student learning progress and engagement during sessions
  • Become adept with digital educational tools and resources

Qualifications:

  • Passion for mathematics and working with students
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and receive training
  • Proficient in mathematics through at least Algebra I
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • High school diploma
  • Math proficiency through algebra

All candidates will be required to demonstrate math proficiency through a literacy assessment, provide proof of work authorization, and pass a background check.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time, 3 Shifts per week (Monday-Thursday 3 PM- 7 PM or Sunday 12 PM - 4 PM)

Compensation:

  • $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
