Job Title: BMS Tridium Niagara Site Reliability Engineer

STAND 8 Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled BMS Tridium Niagara Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Building Management System (BMS) software, specifically Tridium Niagara.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure the Tridium Niagara BMS environment from scratch, including network protocols and firewall management.
  • Design and Construction: Design and construct Building Management System drawing packages.
  • Interface and Monitoring: Interface Niagara Servers connected to multiple JACE installation topologies and monitor the Niagara software to ensure continuous operations and system reliability using operating system diagnostics.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot networking and system issues related to the BMS software, including IoT protocols like MQTT or CoAP, and provide technical support and training to other team members.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect the BMS software, including access controls and encryption, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to set up, configure, and debug computer and software-related problems in the Tridium Niagara / Niagara Framework software.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role in IT, with a focus on BMS software, and experience with BMS systems in large enterprise buildings with multiple floors and site locations.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with experience in root cause analysis and incident management, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
