Job Overview

As a clinical dietitian at the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, you will serve as a key member of the healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy plans, and providing education to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments using the Nutritional Care Process (NCP)
  • Develop and implement Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans to address individual patient needs
  • Provide education to patients and families on healthy eating habits and disease management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nutrition and experience working in a healthcare setting. You should be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
