Sodexo, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a skilled Clinical Nutrition Manager III to oversee clinical nutrition services across multiple facilities in Amarillo, TX.

About the Role

This key position requires strong leadership skills, collaboration with hospital leaders, and the ability to provide high-quality nutrition care to both inpatients and outpatients. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and empowering the clinical nutrition program at BSA Health System towards excellence, supervising a team of experienced dietitians, and collaborating with Sodexo's national patient menu implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical nutrition services across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Guide and empower the clinical nutrition program towards maintained excellence.
  • Supervise a cohesive team of experienced dietitians and entry-level diet techs.
  • Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo's national patient menu.
  • Maintain policies and procedures in place and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Sodexo and client needs.
  • Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development.
  • Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital leaders and physicians.
  • Drive performance improvement and quality management projects as needed.
  • Provide nutrition care to a variety of inpatients or outpatients as needed.
  • Precept dietetic interns and oversee clinical rotations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Basic management experience, including planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes.
  • 5 years of experience as an experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.

  • Competitive salary: $85,000-100,000 per year, based on education level and years of relevant experience.
  • 4 weeks' vacation after 12 months + 3 personal days.

  • Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually.
