Job Summary:

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Quality and Practice Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in our nursing practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations consistent with Advocate Aurora Health's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor quality of patient care and patient satisfaction, and oversee the implementation of measures to improve both.
  • Facilitate care delivery in conjunction with the patient-focused model.
  • Support and facilitate case management practice in conjunction with Advocate Aurora Health protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, city, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and incorporate Performance Improvement projects.
  • Assume 24-hour responsibility for assigned areas of operation and divisional coverage as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master's Degree in any field, or Bachelor's Degree in any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Clinical Nurse Leader and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist board certification.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience required.
  • 4+ years of clinical RN experience in nursing quality and practice.
