Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Amaya Staffing Consultants LLC in King City, CA.

This full-time position works day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and achieve therapy goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, voice quality, and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluating and diagnosing patients with various speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  2. Creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  3. Conducting therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methods to enhance speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  4. Fostering effective communication and collaboration with interprofessional teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • A current SLP license in the state of California.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical or hospital setting is desired.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Salary and Benefits
