Seattle Children's Respiratory Therapist Level I Job Opportunity

Seattle Children's is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

We offer a competitive salary of $42.50 - $68.35 per hour, calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year), and may vary depending on various factors.

About the Role

This position involves providing exceptional respiratory care to patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc, and Rehab units at Seattle Children's.

We are looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with various conditions, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Required Education/Experience:

  • An Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.

Required Credentials:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certification with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One (1) year current critical care experience-adult, pediatric, or neonatal.
  • PALS, NRP, and/or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential from the NBRC.
  • Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care or other health-related field.
